Well this post is going to be short and sweet, mainly just to start things off and see what looks right.
Ultimately in my career I want to be able to invent using an "open" business model. For better or for worst a business needs to be created that actually does this. (at least in NH/NE). So, my first "Quest" if you will, is to find a good business idea and feel out its practicality. Currently I have been inspired by the idea of Hacker/Makerspaces, these are spaces in which people go to express their creative interest and work on what one could call DIY, or "do-it-yourself" projects. The profitability of the spaces themselves is typically on the low to in the red zone. That being said a business model that would set-up my potential business in this interest area would have to be very novel in order to change that fact. I do have a few ideas, and right now its a work in progress. The important thing here is definitely reaching out to the people who are and could be interested in the Do It Yourself and open source movements in the Greater Manchester NH area. This is something that I should be doing anyhow, so I guess I better get to work!
